I set up Path in 2021 with the ambition of being the go-to recruiter for design in adland. A consultancy that truly understands what both design clients and candidates are looking for, and then making that perfect match.

After studying a fashion degree in bonnie Scotland, I knew I was destined for the bustling streets and bright lights of London. It's been an exhilarating 12-year journey since then, weaving my passion for creativity into endless meaningful connections.

It was the fast-paced frenzy of freelance recruitment that truly stole my heart, and I've never looked back since. There's an unmatched thrill in connecting the perfect freelancer with a client, all in one perfectly curated folio.

I've had the privilege of working with some of London’s top advertising, digital, and branding agencies, and globally recognised brands. Along the way, I've forged not just professional alliances, but genuine friendships with clients and candidates alike, all rooted in trust and mutual respect.

For me, It’s all about building relationships. Relationships that are honest, strong and facilitate trust. Getting to know designers and agencies well enough to deliver for them in the short term, is just as important as making a genuine connection that can go the distance.

Open conversations about career and business visions over the next one, three, six and twelve months are important. Along with matching the right skills and style - it is equally important to speak to people who are at the right stage of their career depending on the business need and what they need from the business.

I’m lucky to be a part of this industry and I enjoy the work I get to look at every day. Outside of recruitment I am a musician and have always been arounds creatives, whether it be designers, musicians, photographers or art directors.

I've always loved the creative industry and the people who make it what it is. I started my career as an Account Manager in advertising and branding agencies before moving into recruitment over fourteen years ago, giving me first-hand insight into how agencies work and what makes exceptional creative talent.

Today, I specialise in recruiting Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters and Creative Teams. I'm genuinely passionate about the creative industry and make it my business to know who's creating the most exciting work, who's shaping culture, and who agencies should have on their radar. Combined with long-standing relationships across the industry, this allows me to introduce clients to outstanding talent and candidates to opportunities where they'll genuinely flourish.

The best part of my job is building lasting relationships. I love getting to know people, understanding what drives them, and helping creatives make career moves that feel like the right next step. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing someone thrive in a role that feels like it was made for them.
